Segregation in desiccated sessile drops of biological fluids

It is shown here that concurrence between advection and diffusion in a dryingsessile drop of a biological fluid can produce spatial redistribution ofalbumen and salt. The result gives an explanation for the patterns observed inthe dried drops of the biological fluids.
